Armada-Group Pte. Ltd.

We are Armada, a start-up company, headquartered in Manila, Philippines, empowering local e-commerce entrepreneurs across SEA to grow their business 10-100x and to build the brand of their dreams. We invest into their brands, thereby buy a part of their business, then continue as partners, where we provide growth capital, operations, and tech to the entrepreneurs. We are building an engine to run online-first, D2C brands at their best.

 

We are looking for a Business Development Intern to join us in helping us find the next D2C brands to add to our portfolio. We are looking for someone with a fun and friendly personality with a keen interest in ecommerce, market research, and business development.

 

Role

  • Support the founders in identifying, profiling, and evaluating high-potential D2C brands

  • Manage investment lead pipeline using appropriate CRM tools

  • Contact brand owners to introduce and pitch Armada’s value proposition

  • Manage end-to-end deal process from outreach to closing of deals

Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field (Sales, Marketing, Management or Entrepreneurial studies an advantage)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills preferably with experience in vendor/sponsor/partner sourcing

  • Familiar and proficient with Microsoft Excel

  • Entrepreneurial spirit

  • Can work independently with minimal supervision

  • Can speak and write English fluently
