We are Armada, a start-up company, headquartered in Singapore and running operations from Manila, Philippines, setting out to reshape the e-commerce retail landscape of South East Asia (SEA). We are making steps to position the company as the pioneering acquirer of e-commerce businesses in the SEA region.

We are looking for a Director and Head of Channel Management with extensive experience and track record in the management of consumer brands on e-commerce platforms such as Shopee or Lazada. The Director and Head of Channel Management will be responsible to build and supervise all operations on e-commerce platforms, including product listings, campaigns,

promotions in order to generate sales.

Your role

  • Develop the Armada company together with the founders and the team

  • Build a best-practice channel management organization within Armada

  • Run and supervise on-platform operations, including all activities from creating product listings, running campaigns and promotions to customer care

  • Integrate analytics to gauge on-platform sales performance and optimize approach

  • Evaluate and implement best-practices practices in online selling in order to address value propositions for customers and to differentiate from competitors

  • Take over and continue the channel management of acquired businesses from the previous owner

Your background

  • Experience in an online-first D2C brand (or a general consumer brand), with a leadership position, entrepreneurial role or senior employment in channel management (i.e. operating the e-commerce platform activities)

  • Experience in working for an e-commerce marketplace

  • Experience in running an online business on an e-commerce platform

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and in a growing team

  • Ability to lead personnel

  • Degree from a highly reputable higher education institution (not mandatory)

  • Fluency in English
